A couple weeks ago I contacted Helen (who has Otto) for an update on how things are going, as he has a Vestigial testicle. Otto is from Puddin' and Teagol's litter of seven pups. "Hello Jane Otto's results came back - he definitely has testicular tissue in him, and it's highly likely that lump of cells on his abdominal artery is the culprit unfortunately. Our vets are adamant that he needs them removed due to risk of developing sarcoma. We have been advised that he will need to go to a specialist vets, possibly in Bristol, due to the delicate and risky nature of the surgery. So, its just a case of us booking him in when we feel ready. We are obviously worried about it, but feel it is probably best to get it done. I'll keep you posted of course. In all other ways he's a wonderfully happy, healthy dog! I do hope that things are more peaceful with you, after your difficult year. Best wishes Helen"
