The first group pf photos is of Teagol giving birth today to her seven tricoloured pups. Four girls and three boys born between 10.50 am to 2.35 pm. The second group of photos is of Teagol and pups after all born and whelping area tidied up. And lastly a bit of video of Teagol after being taken out for her ablutions and returning to the whelping box which had been tidied up after the birth of her seven pups. She is doing really well and seems to be taking it all in her stride.

Lovely photos and video, Jane. Beautiful mum and babies! Teagol looks to be such an attentive mother, licking her pups. It's just amazing the way instinct kicks in - even though it's her first time being a mum, she knows exactly what to do.

Congratulations, and well done Teagol (and you Jane!). Seven little babies, and all beauties. You must all be thrilled, especially Florrie as Teagol's Mum. What lovely news amongst so much recent doom and gloom. Teagol is certainly showing them a lot of tenderness - she's going to be a wonderful Mum.

Puddin' is puppy curious and little Billy as they hear the little sounds they make. Her Mum Blottie is the most interesting as she is spent a lot of time sitting by the pen area sniffing the air and pricking her ears listening to the sounds coming from the whelping area yesterday evening and today.
