Lovely update for Oscar from Lynn. Oscar is from Ernest and Rosie's litter of eleven pups. "Dear Jane, We’ve followed your family’s trials and tribulations over the last couple of months and it sounds like it’s been a difficult time. Here’s hoping that things are now improving for you all. We’ve loved seeing all the recent news from Rosie’s litter families and thought we’d share an update for Oscar. Physically, he was one of the bigger pups and he is certainly growing at a fast rate. He’s now just under 8kg and 37cm high at the withers but nicely slender. Noticeably, he is very long in the body. He is a lovely looking pup, his markings are now a deep glossy red and he gets so many admiring comments when we are out and about. He is super smart which is both a blessing and a curse Training is going very well, he walks nicely on the lead, recall is great and he understands many commands. We still have a lot of work to do on inappropriate jumping and climbing (we think there’s some mountain goat in there somewhere), and he can get very barky at times so that’s another work in progress. He would eat 24/7 given a chance so we do have to monitor his food intake carefully. His two favourite activities are eating any bit of wood he can find or picking up feathers. We managed to do our first seaside trip this week and he loved digging in the sand but was petrified of the sea! As first-time owners we are learning every day which can be exhausting, but he is a wonderful little chap, with such a huge personality that we can’t imagine life without him now. He chats away to us all the time, making hilarious grunts and squeaks and it amazes me just how much of his communication we are able to understand. Keep the updates coming folks as it’s so interesting to see how all the siblings are developing. Kind regards Lynn & Graeme"

It is lovely to see updates about Oscar who we always thought of as Tilly's twin and it's remarkable to hear all about their similarities such as the mountain goat inclinations ! Tilly tends to launch then think ! Her favourite recent trick is to somehow worm her way onto the kitchen table to lick the butter dish even when all the chairs are pushed under ! Our bad for leaving the butter dish there in the first place ! Great to compare notes and have your news thank you.

Hilarious, and slightly reassuring to know that he’s not just the naughty one of the family.
