Lovely update for Ted from Lynda, who had also contacted me about getting Ted a canine companion. Ted is from Puddin' and Teagol's litter of seven tricoloured pups.
"Hi Jane,
Your idea sounds perfectly sensible especially avoiding disappointment
We’re doing OK and apart from not being able to take Ted to the pub we have gone about our life going out and about (not wearing masks apart from in shops)
Ted is now full “teenager”  but responsive to training as he’s a quick learner and eager to please - well most of the time 🤣
He is still food motivated but digestion seems good and so no trips to the vets for him since his puppy vaccinations and he certainly looks the picture of health with lovely bright eyes and a lovely shiny coat too. He loves running off lead in the woods and is very good at watching us and running back to check in constantly
so providing there is not an interesting bird to chase his recall is very good
Funny that from being the smallest born he is now the heaviest at 13.5kg!
Hopefully we can organise a get together for Teagols litter soon as we have stayed in touch which will be fun to see them all together again.
I will certainly keep an eye on the exciting pup situation as I look regularly at your updates anyway so please keep us in mind once the queue starts
As you know we were tempted to ask for two pups previously but we were also aware of so many people wanting so knew it was not possible at the time
I thought the photo of all the family of dogs was wonderful and I’m so impressed the way you got them all to pose!
Love to both you and the family of dogs
