Iris left us yesterday to live with Andrew, Pam and their two old Cavalier girls in Nottinghamshire. A very sweet gentle little girl with updates on route and today of her progress.

"Good morning Jane
Pam and I can’t thank you enough, she is a stunning little girl, a credit to you. Thought I would send you a quick update whilst drinking my coffee, I need it today!! Iris has settled in so well, very gentle around our old girls. She is very confident and calm. Loves to explore the house and garden, nothing phases her. She has eaten well and slept last night after a little whimpering.
The drive home took around 5 and a half hours but she was settled, didn’t appear stressed, looking out of the window, didn’t need to wee and ate some treats. We called for a McDonald’s coffee through the drive thru. She got a lot of attention from the staff!! They loved her.
I’ve attached a photo taken this morning and will keep you posted.
Best wishes from us all xx"

Iris has had a great day, she curled up on our bed this morning, at 5.30  she has been playing with the girls, they are very tolerant which is helped by her good manners. We tried her with the raw food today, she loved it. They are all curled up on the sofa with us which is lovely. Take care, best wishes from us all   Xx"
