Teagol's pups turn two weeks old tomorrow. At two weeks old we start them on their worming program of being wormed every two weeks for 3 days with Panacur paste until they leave us. Puppies can pick up the most common worm roundworms from Mum in uterus and from her milk. If not wormed regularly from an early age worms will multiply very quickly in a young puppy and can cause them serious health problems.
My two boxes of Panacur paste arrived yesterday from VetUK who I now use for most of my parasite control products and prescription drugs, when needed.

I'm sure with your experience you know what works best for you but I think that the Panacur 10% liquid would be a lot cheaper, and easier to dose accurately, than the paste. I guess the volume they would need is a bit higher, so is the paste better tolerated by the puppies?

From experience dosing puppies with a liquid or a paste. I would go with the paste, as more of it will stay in the mouth and be ingested, due to it being more viscous. Especially if you have an objectionable pup. If they sneeze and shake their head when you dose them with the liquid, you get it everywhere except the place it should be, and then you can sometimes end up with it going the wrong way and you have the stuff coming out their nostrils and a distressed puppy.

From the 8th July 2020 our email contact will change to janethowarth06@gmail.com From 2021 our puppies will now be £2000 due to massive rise in prices of puppies and our concerns that not putting our price up to reflect the market and discourage unscrupulous interest in our puppies, we put our pups at risk of being sourced to be sold on for profit. We also have had to factor in the rise of veterinary fees and general costs.
