My daughter Florrie took these photos of Teagol yesterday evening lying on my bed. Teagol is normally a very trim girl and lying in this position, you would normally easily see the outline of her ribcage and her stomach would be much flatter. Bitches just like woman in the early stages of pregnancy can have decreased appetite and vomiting, decreased activity (tiredness), mamary gland development and weight loss. Teagol has displayed all those symptoms along with being even more affectionate than usual (if that was possible) and with already starting to show an obvious filling of her abdominal area at only 4 weeks pregnant, I would consider she is carrying a good size litter.

I didn’t know they had a similar reaction to women at the early hormone rush of pregnancy. Interesting.

Wow, I didn't know dogs could get morning sickness. At least she's getting lots of cuddles to make her feel better!
