Lovely update for Rocco came in a week or so ago, as he approached 4 months old, from Sue. Rocco is from Ernest and Blottie's litter of ten again.
I thought I would send you an update at just over 17 weeks. He is a super puppy and fits in well with our daily life and we love him dearly.
We have finished our puppy training classes. Due to COVID they had to be outside and on a 121 basis. The trainer said he was one of the best puppies he had seen in a long time and has a great temperament and is really calm and attentive. We hope to go back when Rocco is a bit older to do some scent work.
Everyone we meet says how pretty he looks with his spotty face. Please see photos below. He wags his tail at everyone he sees. He adores my daughter’s dog when we meet up for a walk. He doesn’t bark very often. Occasionally at the hoover.
I must add like all puppies he isn’t an angel and has picked all the flowers off one of my my camellias and scattered them all over the lawn.
I hope all is well with you.
Many thanks for a lovely puppy.
Our next litter is hopefully Autumn 2022

“Humans are aware of very little, it seems to me, the artificial brainy side of life, the worries and bills and the mechanisms of jobs, the doltish psychologies we've placed over our lives like a stencil. A dog keeps his life simple and unadorned.” Brad Watson, Last Days of the Dog-Men: Stories
Welcome to this blog. I am Jane, a hobby breeder, situated in North Devon, England, UK (map at bottom of page ,shows where we are) on a quest to breed a healthier small spaniel similar to the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
WE DO NOT EXPORT PUPPIES
Why I don't export
Our breeding dogs are multi generational extensively health tested. With all our breeding stock having recommended and relevant DNA tests for their breed/breeds. We also have breeding stock annually eye examined on the BVA Hereditary Eye Disease Scheme for dogs, MRI scanned on the BVA scheme using the BVA chiari malformation /syringomyelia breeding protocol, and heart examined using The Kennel Club Heart Scheme for Cavalier King Charles breeding protocol
