And an update yesterday arrived for Otto, who was the second of Teagol's pups to leave us, nearly two weeks ago.
I just wanted to let you know how much we are loving having Otto in our lives. He has settled in beautifully and is such a happy little dog.
He is doing really well with his toilet training and recall, sit and lie down.
Despite having 3 beds in various parts of the house, his favourite sleeping place (surprise, surprise) is on our laps - or sometimes in Romilly's teepee! We love our evening sofa snuggles!
He's enjoying mini exploring trips in our fields and today we took him to the stream for his first paddle!
I would also like to belatedly thank you for the most generous bag of information and all the goodies you provided with him. He loves the toys and treats and we are enjoying the book. You certainly go way above and beyond any other breeder we have known and it is very much appreciated.
Happy 10 week birthday (Wednesday) to all Otto's siblings!
Many thanks again,
Helen, Al and Romilly"
Our next litter is hopefully Autumn 2022

“Humans are aware of very little, it seems to me, the artificial brainy side of life, the worries and bills and the mechanisms of jobs, the doltish psychologies we've placed over our lives like a stencil. A dog keeps his life simple and unadorned.” Brad Watson, Last Days of the Dog-Men: Stories
Welcome to this blog. I am Jane, a hobby breeder, situated in North Devon, England, UK (map at bottom of page ,shows where we are) on a quest to breed a healthier small spaniel similar to the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
WE DO NOT EXPORT PUPPIES
Why I don't export
Our breeding dogs are multi generational extensively health tested. With all our breeding stock having recommended and relevant DNA tests for their breed/breeds. We also have breeding stock annually eye examined on the BVA Hereditary Eye Disease Scheme for dogs, MRI scanned on the BVA scheme using the BVA chiari malformation /syringomyelia breeding protocol, and heart examined using The Kennel Club Heart Scheme for Cavalier King Charles breeding protocol
