Around a month ago I emailed Steph, who has Lily to find out how everything was going.
"Hi
We are good thanks - getting used to this strange way of life. Because I'm 71 I've been on my own through the epidemic but Wembury is a friendly village so going out with the dogs usually involves stopping for a chat with someone and I talk on the phone with friends every day. I have even had zoom meetings! This Saturday I have got friends coming for coffee in the garden - weather permitting.
The landlady of our pub caught covid early on and it was touch and go. She has just left hospital to go to rehab but she has been left with lifelong lung damage.
Toby only goes for little walks now but he is quite stable. Lily and I go for a long walk every day unless it's raining. She is a real sun worshipper as you can see from the photos. As soon as the sun comes out she loves to bask.
I'm enjoying seeing the new litter. I bet Flo is enjoying them. And it's always lovely to see Sasha. I can usually pick her out in a picture.
Best wishes to you all.
Stephanie"

Welcome to this blog. I am Jane, a hobby breeder, situated in North Devon, England, UK (map at bottom of page ,shows where we are) on a quest to breed a healthier type Cavalier King Charles(small) type Spaniel.
If you are reading this, you have most probably come from my main website The POUNDLANE spaniel
Problems with putting anymore blogs on that website, I have now started this blog for 2020. Due to Covid 19 Ernest and Blottie's litter will not go ahead as first planned in March 2020, but we hope to go ahead now on Blottie's next heat in October 2020. This couple produced a beautiful litter together Looks like it's ten pups for Blottie the end of 2017.
If you wish to know more, you can ring me, Jane for a chat on 01769 560969
We have also decided to pair Ernest and Blottie's daughter, Teagol with our very smart little Working Cocker spaniel boy, Puddin' in 2020. She is due on heat middle of May 2020 and if we are coming out of retrictions due to Covid 19, we may go ahead with this pairing. Updates can be found on the blog (to your left).
