Ysobel was put to sleep Friday evening. We have had some sort of stomach upset going through the dogs, effecting six of them, which has now cleared up, but Ysobel with also her rumbling Pancreatitis, it hit her hard, and we felt that letting her gentle slip away by having her euthanised by our vet, was doing her the best service.
She was very loving quirky little thing. A brilliant mother to her litters, and even after retiring from breeding. She was often caught in the act nursing other bitches pups. We have her daughter, Primrose and Granddaughters, Bertha and Sasha. She now lies alongside her old mate, Dolly.

Dear Jane - a difficult decision I know but one made with love. I feel for you and the family as Cavaliers are such characters they are always missed so dearly. Beautiful Ysobel lives on in your other girls which is a little comforting I’m sure, and we are lucky you share their lives with us. X

Yes, Blottie is the one in the middle of the pups suckling her, in the photo I link to above.

WE DO NOT EXPORT PUPPIES
Why I don't export AT POUNDLANE
Our breeding dogs are multi generational extensively health tested. With all our breeding stock having recommended and relevant DNA tests for their breed/breeds. We also have breeding stock annually eye examined on the BVA Hereditary Eye Disease Scheme for dogs, MRI scanned on the BVA scheme using the BVA chiari malformation /syringomyelia breeding protocol, and heart examined using The Kennel Club Heart Scheme for Cavalier King Charles breeding protocol |
