The beginning of March I received the sad news of Florrie passing away. Florrie was born before we started up the website. Her Mum was Bonnie and her Dad was Charlie. She was a KC registered Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. "Hi Jane, I hope you are well. It's with great sadness that I'm writing to you. After almost 12 years (I believe Florries birthday was the 13th of March) we had to say goodbye to her yesterday. She had had a heart murmur since she was 5...but it had been well managed and she had remained healthy until this past year....even then she had more good days than bad. Her rapid decline was really since Christmas, although even then she enjoyed a 4 mile walk on Valentine's day. She has been such a wonderful member of our family, she's brought us so much love and joy. We will miss her so much. Thank you for bringing her into our lives. Love Amy and the Chudley family"

Florrie was such a lovely girl. She was a very good influence on her great great nephew (I think) Murphy, and they enjoyed their weekly woods walks until her last months. She came to stay with us several times and we all adored her. xxx
