How bad do I feel (after blogging about Esme's third birthday). I just found Darla in my spam folder looking for something else. So much to my disgrace I hope that Darla, Luna, Herbie, Dylan, Bertie, Eva and Saffron had a lovely 4th Birthday. I know our Lottie (the pup we kept back from the litter) enjoyed another year of the joy of life. We hold ourselves higher than the beasts in the fields and some may find it superficial that we celebrate the passing of a dogs year of life but, as I watch what humans can subject other humans to, I do feel that they hold the higher ground upon us. Darla and her litter sibling are from Ernest and Bumble's litter of eight pups "Dear Jane I just wanted to send you an email with our thanks again for breeding our lovely Darla and wish Lottie and Darla's other litter siblings a very Happy 4th birthday. Darla brightens every day, spreads joy wherever she goes and is a great companion. She's been to the groomers today as she was getting a very curly coat which soaks up the mud and gets in the way of her exploring every hole in every hedge she passes. See attached pre- and post- groom photos attached. As a birthday treat we went to the pet shop and got her some new toys and treats, and she got to do what she enjoys most - saying hello to people and being told she's beautiful! We love keeping up with your blog and know that the owners of Blottie's new puppies will be very happy and lucky. Very best wishes Louise"

Please don't feel bad Jane, with being so busy with the new puppies we didn't expect an immediate response. You gave Darla, and all Poundlane puppies, the best start in life - testing the health of the generations before theirs, giving them love and the best care and choosing the right owners over profit

WE DO NOT EXPORT PUPPIES
Why I don't export AT POUNDLANE
Our breeding dogs are multi generational extensively health tested. With all our breeding stock having recommended and relevant DNA tests for their breed/breeds. We also have breeding stock annually eye examined on the BVA Hereditary Eye Disease Scheme for dogs, MRI scanned on the BVA scheme using the BVA chiari malformation /syringomyelia breeding protocol, and heart examined using The Kennel Club Heart Scheme for Cavalier King Charles breeding protocol |
