Happy 2nd Birthday greetings from Darla's family. Darla is from Ernest and Bumble's litter of eight pups born in 2018.  Darla "Dear Jane Please see attached photos of Darla on her 2nd birthday and wish all her siblings a Happy Birthday from us. Darla continues to bring joy and laughter on a daily basis. Today she and Harvey enjoyed the first birthday cake I’ve ever made for dogs – a small carrot cake topped with cheese spread each. Harvey chomped his down in 2 bites and Darla was more ladylike – licking the topping off first, taking several bites to eat the cake and then making sure she’d cleaned the floor well of any crumbs. They then had a mad chase around the house sharing her new toys, followed by a lie down to recover. Later she snuck on to one of the dining chairs to check if there would be any tasty left overs to finish the day with (there were both dogs had a small piece of steak each) Please give all at Poundlane our best wishes and thank you again for producing such a well loved addition to our family. AT POUNDLANE
Our breeding dogs are multi generational extensively health tested. With all our breeding stock having recommended and relevant DNA tests for their breed/breeds. We also have breeding stock annually eye examined on the BVA Hereditary Eye Disease Scheme for dogs, MRI scanned on the BVA scheme using the BVA chiari malformation /syringomyelia breeding protocol, and heart examined using The Kennel Club Heart Scheme for Cavalier King Charles breeding protocol |
