Teagol's pregnancy diary: The vigil

8/4/2020

This will now be the last pregnancy diary for Teagol as her temperature dropped yesterday and last night she was very uncomfortable with intermittent panting and vigorous digging of her bed in obvious discomfort. I have been on vigil with her the last two nights and she is on constant watch now. I would expect pups to be here by tomorrow morning. Fingers tightly crossed!

Just to let you all know (because at the moment I can't get on the website to edit and load up photos) Teagol produced her first pup at 10.50 am today and her last at 2.35 pm. She has had seven tricoloured pups 3 boys and 4 girls. All are doing well and Mum has been a star during it all. I will hope to load up photos of today's events as soon as possible.
