Got this lovely update the middle of November from Jon for Roxy. Roxy is from Ernest and Rosie's litter of eleven puppies.
"Hi Jane
Just thought I’d send a few photos and little update on Roxy.
Generally things are going great and the whole extended family loves her of course. She’s very happy and chilled out around the house and most content dozing on the sofa (or a bed to be honest). Once we go out she’s very active and loves to run in the large enclosed dog park we’ve found where there can be well over a dozen dogs on a good day.  We do get her off lead nearer home but she can run quite far and has a strong hunting drive for the squirrels and deer around here.  I’ve been trying to capture a good pic of the one paw in the air hunting pose but haven’t got one yet.
The only issue we’ve got is she does still  have loose stools quite often and can go off her food for up to a day. The vet is trying another hypoallergenic food for us and we’re still limiting her diet which does make training more tricky. That being said, Evie and I take Roxy to dog training classes and she’s pretty comparable to the others there.
We get so many compliments on Roxy’s looks and temperament. One even got shouted from a passing car the other day!  I love how she really looks like what I’d call a ‘proper dog’ rather than some of the strange fluff balls and overbred dogs we see.
Just wanted you to know ‘Roxy Smudge Ricks’ to give her her full name is still proving a great addition to our little family.
All the best, Jon"

What a lovely pup date for Roxy, she’s a beautiful looking girl.
Can relate to many of the comments here.
