Rosie is back in the house as off heat. Gestation for a bitch is nine weeks, give a day or two each side of that for size of bitch and size of litter carrying. Smaller dogs tend to whelp earlier and larger breeds later, but also litter size is a factor. If carrying a small litter they tend to go later and big litters tend to arrive earlier. From Rosie's first mating nine weeks is the 1st April and from her last mating nine weeks is the 7th April.
So now it is waiting and around 28 to 35 days from her last mating, I hopefully will be able to feel she is pregnant by palpation.

WE DO NOT EXPORT PUPPIES
Why I don't export AT POUNDLANE
Our breeding dogs are multi generational extensively health tested. With all our breeding stock having recommended and relevant DNA tests for their breed/breeds. We also have breeding stock annually eye examined on the BVA Hereditary Eye Disease Scheme for dogs, MRI scanned on the BVA scheme using the BVA chiari malformation /syringomyelia breeding protocol, and heart examined using The Kennel Club Heart Scheme for Cavalier King Charles breeding protocol |
