Before the birth and conception even of Teagol's litter I have spoken with lovely people who I would love to hear from again. So for the first time for a while, I am opening a sort of waiting list prior to a litter even being conceived. This list is though only for those that have contacted me prior to the birth of Teagol's litter and not restricted to just people living in Devon or Cornwall.
Most will know that Ernest and Blottie are the parents of Teagol. Blottie gave birth to Teagol along with her nine litter siblings December 2017. Blottie will hopefully be on heat again in October, meaning pups ready for homes around the beginning of March 2021.
Listing on this litter will mean that I will keep your details and I will inform you where you are on the list at this time. If anyone drops out ahead of you. You may end up further up the list come the time of choosing a puppy. Everything going well with the arrival of the litter. When I put up on the blog for interested parties in the litter to contact me. It will be for you to then contact me to say that you still wish to have a puppy and we take it from there.
I also advise anyone listing with me to keep looking elsewhere for a puppy, as I can not guarantee a puppy to anyone at this stage. So you don't need to miss out on other pups. I don't ask for any formal agreement from anyone beforehand. It is your own personal choice if you wish to forsake all others and wait for our next litter. I ask for no fidelity at this stage. All I ask is if listed on Ernest and Blottie's litter and you find a puppy elsewhere, that you have the manners to inform me, so I can remove you from the list.
So anyone who has contacted me prior to the birth of Teagol's litter and are interested in Ernest and Blottie's next litter. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.

“Humans are aware of very little, it seems to me, the artificial brainy side of life, the worries and bills and the mechanisms of jobs, the doltish psychologies we've placed over our lives like a stencil. A dog keeps his life simple and unadorned.” Brad Watson, Last Days of the Dog-Men: Stories
Welcome to this blog. I am Jane, a hobby breeder, situated in North Devon, England, UK (map at bottom of page ,shows where we are) on a quest to breed a healthier small spaniel similar to the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
WE DO NOT EXPORT PUPPIES
Why I don't export
Our breeding dogs are multi generational extensively health tested. With all our breeding stock having recommended and relevant DNA tests for their breed/breeds. We also have breeding stock annually eye examined on the BVA Hereditary Eye Disease Scheme for dogs, MRI scanned on the BVA scheme using the BVA chiari malformation /syringomyelia breeding protocol, and heart examined using The Kennel Club Heart Scheme for Cavalier King Charles breeding protocol
