Teagol and her seven little pups have got through their first night together safely.
Teagol gave birth relatively easily, if you can ever call giving birth easy. The first pup was born backwards with a little assistance from me at 10.50 am, a girl weighing 8 3/4 ounces. The second pup arrived backwards at 11.55 am, a boy weighing 7 3/8 ounces. Then very quickly another arrived backwards at 11.57 am being the tiddler of the litter, a boy weighing 6 1/8 ounces. The fourth puppy arrived forwards at 12.30 pm, a girl weighing 6 3/4 ounces. The fifth pup arrived forwards at 1.33 pm, a girl weighing 8 7/8 ounces. The sixth pup arrived forwards at 1.55 pm, a boy weighing 8 1/2 ounces. Then the seventh and last pup arrived forwards at 2.35 pm, a girl weighing 7 1/8 ounces. All placentas were accounted for as each pup was born.

Such lovely little bundles of cuddliness! What a proud Mum.
Do I see eyes open in one of the photos?

Anyone who is fortunate enough to have one of these pups will be so happy. We have one of Blottie’s pups- Eddie. He has the most wonderful character and temperament- everyone who meets him says how lovely he is. This is down to the good breeding and nature of the Poundland pack . Thanks Jane and family X
