Toni sent me a 1st Birthday update for Bingley. He turned one on the 5th November along with his nine litter siblings.
Happy Belated 1st Birthday to you all!
Bingley is from Ernest and Blottie's litter of ten again.
"Dear Jane,
It's a lovely excuse to email you on Bingley's birthday to let you know what a happy dog he is and what a happy year he's given us. A big happy birthday from us to his nine siblings.
Bingley is very lovely chap (photos attached). Extremely friendly with any animal or human - big and small - and keen to be involved in everything and anything! We often say we now understand where the phrase 'sticking your nose in' comes from. Bingley's nose would happily go into any shopping bag or any rabbit hole. Basically anything that looks exciting and he's there! This week he stuck his nose into a clump of grass and a pheasant shot out of the other side of it. Now that made his day! He spent the rest of the walk trying the same tactic on every clump of grass he came across. He remains healthy (no vet trips needed outside of the usual this year) and happy. He's a tough little chap who really loves being outdoors but then is a total softie and loves a lap to lie on in the evening! He's very adorable as if you move whilst he's asleep to another room he'll wake himself up, follow you and then recommence his nap wherever you are!
He's regularly told by dog walkers what a pretty face he has (and many assume he's a girl!) and people are then quite surprised at how athletic he is. He's really fast!
After a tough year, I hope these happy puppies bring you a lot of joy as we celebrate their birthday. Blottie did a great job!
Toni x"
