Little Sidney left us yesterday to start his life with Pauline, Barry and their old Cavalier boy Hawtrey in Axminster. Updates are good. He travelled home well and today an update to tell me how his first night went. "Sidney's First Day and Night Sidney was an excellent boy overnight and seemed to settle nicely in his crate. He didn't cry, had no accidents and didn't wake us until after 6am! He has been enjoying exploring more of the house today and has discovered some of Hawtrey's toys, although favourites have been put out of his reach! I think he is missing all of you as he seems to be looking for extra people and dogs some of the time and has the odd little whimper but we have been distracting him with toys, a few treats and cuddles. Love to you all from Sidney and us xx"

Iris left us yesterday to live with Andrew, Pam and their two old Cavalier girls in Nottinghamshire. A very sweet gentle little girl with updates on route and today of her progress. "Good morning Jane Pam and I can’t thank you enough, she is a stunning little girl, a credit to you. Thought I would send you a quick update whilst drinking my coffee, I need it today!! Iris has settled in so well, very gentle around our old girls. She is very confident and calm. Loves to explore the house and garden, nothing phases her. She has eaten well and slept last night after a little whimpering. The drive home took around 5 and a half hours but she was settled, didn’t appear stressed, looking out of the window, didn’t need to wee and ate some treats. We called for a McDonald’s coffee through the drive thru. She got a lot of attention from the staff!! They loved her. I’ve attached a photo taken this morning and will keep you posted. Best wishes from us all xx" "Jane
Iris has had a great day, she curled up on our bed this morning, at 5.30 she has been playing with the girls, they are very tolerant which is helped by her good manners. We tried her with the raw food today, she loved it. They are all curled up on the sofa with us which is lovely. Take care, best wishes from us all Xx" The photos below are of Iris, Sidney, Oscar, Tilly and Roxy over the last few days. Iris and Sidney leave us tomorrow. |
